Prior Pursglove College is excited about the prospect of working in partnership with Guisborough Town FC to support talented footballers to pursue their passion alongside academic study. The BTEC Diploma in sport is equivalent to two A levels and will compliment the training delivered as part of the Elite Academy. This new venture increases the variety of options and we offer to young people at post 16 in Redcar and Cleveland
The BTEC Diploma in sport covers units such as:

There will be various opportunities to practice and develop with each topic at both Prior Pursglove College, and also within Guisborough Town FC.
At Guisborough Town FC, our primary aim is to ensure positive exit routes for students upon completion of their time at the Elite Academy.
Our staff will work alongside the college tutor to create an individual plan for each leaver, making sure they continue their development and maximise their potential.
