A point dropped on the road

Guisborough made a good start to the game and settled into our shape nicely, and after 20 minutes a brake-away down the left side with Josh Parker and Brandon Loughran combining.

Loughran whipped the ball in, Ben Andrews settled himself in the box and fired home.

Guisborough then had an erratic five minutes that saw the home side score twice from set pieces as the visitors twice failed to clear their lines.

Guisborough dominated the ball in the second half and came close to an equalising goal but the ball struck the crossbar, and perhaps should have had a penalty in the latter stages.
