GTFC can confirm that we have received notification from the Northern League of their decision to impose a 3 point deduction. Following a caution issued to the club in pre season, the subsequent fine was missed on the system used; which imposed a late fine, and then a suspension on the club from playing until paid. Guisborough Town have been drawn away to Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Emley AFC in the 1st round proper of the Isuzu FA Vase. Emley, based just outside of Huddersfield, progressed having beaten Brigg Town FC 3-1 in the second qualifying round. Guisborough Town will host Newton Aycliffe in the Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. The tie will be played on Saturday 5 August 2023 with a 3pm kick-off. We’ve also been drawn against local rivals Redcar Town in the Isuzu FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round, to be played at the KGV on Saturday 23 September with a 3pm kick-off.
