Match Report
The Ladies hosted Linthorpe at the KGV on Sunday, looking for a repeat of the reverse fixture a week earlier.
With the wind on their side, Guisborough dominated the first half and made it difficult for Linthorpe to get out of their own half. A number of chances were created but it was a great one-two between Lyla Paisley (sponsored by TNT Fitness) and Gracie McLoughlin (sponsored by Whitby Coastal Cruises) that ended with Paisley finishing neatly to make it 1-0.
After coming close from a handful of corners already, it was McLoughlin with a great header from a Rebecca Andrew (sponsored by Glow and Grow) corner to make it 2-0.
It was then Scarlett Hames (sponsored by Croft Rigging & Lifting Ltd) turn to get on the score sheet with a sharp turn in the box and a fine finish to make it 3-0, assisted by McLoughlin.

After a dominant first half, Guisborough will have wished they were more clinical and knew the second half would be tougher against the wind.
The half started with Linthorpe being awarded a penalty which was saved by the ever reliable Maddie McCormick in goal.
Guisborough continued creating chances, the best being a fierce left footed strike from Hames that struck the crossbar. But, it was Linthorpe who got a goal back with a header from a corner.
In a somewhat scrappy second half, Guisborough saw out the win they deserved and continue putting pressure on at the top of the table.
