EnglandAlex joined York City as a 7 year old and worked his way through the age groups, playing for their academy in successive National League Cup finals.
In 2024 he sign for Darlington, who loaned him out to Guisborough Town during the 2024/25 season. He made 8 appearances for the Priorymen during that spell before returning to his parent club.
Darlington then allowed Alex to join Heaton Stannington on loan for the remained of the 24/25 season, and that move became a permanent one ahead of the 25/26 season.
Following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2025/26 season, Alex decided to return to the Kevin Edward KGV for the 2026/27 season.
