Guisborough Town have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Media Assistant to join our off-field team at Guisborough Football Club on a voluntary basis.
The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating content for our social media accounts, including our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, as well as working closely with our media and commercial team to help improve Guisborough Town on and off the pitch.
This role could extend to filming and editing clubs’ match highlights, conducting pre and post-match interviews and helping relaunch our YouTube channel.
Candidates will ideally have prior knowledge of editing software, and have an understanding of running a social media account and what content a football club may be posting.
A full UK driving license would be desirable for travel to home and away matches, although transport may be able to be given sometimes. We would expect successful candidates to attend all home matches and most/all away games.
A real passion for football and an understanding of the game is essential to the role.
This role will act as an official representative for the club.
