Temecula Valley Hawks visit KGV

Southern California side Temecular Valley Hawks paid a visit to the King George V ground on Sunday for a pre-season friendly against Guisborough Town Under-15’s.

Coached by Pete Gregory, originally from the North-East of England, Temecula Valley Hawks travelled to England at the beginning of July. Over the course of the month they will be playing a number of teams from around the region and had already faced Boro Rangers U15’s and Marton White U15’s.

Next up was an encounter with double cup winners Guisborough Town U15’s at the KGV Stadium on Sunday 8th July.

The game was hard fought but both teams were respectful throughout the 75 minute match. Both sides looked to keep possession with a great deal of skill on show from players from both sides of the pond.

Guisborough came out 2-0 winners at full time and both teams were a credit to their clubs.
