Double boost for Priorymen as Marske United players sign on
Guisborough Manager Steve Bell has swooped to sign two promising young Marske United players and both go straight into the squad for Saturday’s league match at the KGV against Newcastle Benfield (KO 3pm).
Jack Blackford, a 23-year-old attacking player, is joining Guisborough on a month’s loan while Shahban (‘Shabs’ as he is known) Mohammed, also 23, is an old school box to box midfielder, who has dual registered with Guisborough Town and Marske.
“I’ve been keeping an eye on both these players and their situations at Marske for a little while now and I’m absolutely over the moon to have them in at the KGV and both will go straight into the squad to face Benfield on Saturday.
“Jack is a forward-thinking player who can play in several positions along the front line while Shabs is a tough-tackling centre midfielder who keeps his game really simple.”

Guisborough Town General Manager Chris Wood said: “We are very grateful to Marske United for their assistant in helping us to sort out these two important new signings.”
