Head of Development ‘Higgy’ wows the KGV faithful in clubhouse after Shields game
Craig Hignett gave a very interesting insight into his new Head of Development role with the Priorymen after the Shields match. He said: “I have been really genuinely impressed in all my dealings with Guisborough Town so far – the club itself and the people here whether they are club officials, volunteers or supporters.
“There is a proper family spirit throughout the club. I would not get involved with any club other than one like Guisborough Town.
“We can’t say too much about our future plans yet because a lot needs to happen, not least the substantial funding that needs to be raised – so I would encourage everybody connected with the club to play their part in helping to achieve this.
FIRST PRIORITIES
“One of our first priorities will be to build a high quality fence around the two outside pitches and that frankly isn’t going to be cheap.
“We need to get started straight away with the work ahead and I hope that ultimately we will create something lasting that everyone will be really proud of. We want to give the young kids in particular here the very best in terms of football coaching and facilities,” added Craig.
