Guisborough Town are delighted to announce that striker Matthew Willshaw has signed a contract with the Club until the end of the current season, with the option for another year.

Willshaw signed for Guisborough from West Auckland in September and has gone on to make a huge impact in Nathan Haslam’s side with 12 goals and 4 assists in his 16 appearances so far.

With that sort of form it was no surprise that there was interest from other sides, and as soon as an approach came in, the Club acted fast to secure Willshaw’s services in our promotion push.
