He said: “I hope you’ve all been able to enjoy the festive period spending time with family and friends while at the same time remembering those who are no longer with us.
“I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the individuals and business who continue to sponsor and support us in any way.
“A standout aspect of 2022 has been the ever-growing number of truly fantastic people who have joined the club’s exciting journey in some way over the past year.
“Whether this has been as a supporter on matchdays, a club volunteer or player, coach, member of staff, sponsor or simply someone who follows us on ourexcellent social media channels – we sincerely appreciate all of you!
“Everyone’s contribution is so valuable and combines to make our beloved football club better – and that is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
“Next, I would like to say how immensely proud I am of all our numerous on-field teams. Our players, coaches and back-up staff have all been incredible with their commitment, performances and positive attitudes.
“Going into our Golden Jubilee year of 2023, I am determined to continue with the excellent progress we are making both on and off the pitch.
“We are working very hard behind the scenes to continue improving the club and its facilities. It might not look like much is happening at times – but we hope tohave news of some exciting projects and developments fairly soon.
“One of these projects is to provide even further improved catering facilities on matchdays with a new ‘fit for purpose’ building.
“You may have noticed some recent tree removal work and temporary fencing as you enter the KGV ground!
“We’ll keep you all posted as things start to take shape and please feel free to contact me if you would like to help in any way.
“So, here’s to a great and Happy New Year in 2023.
