Club Statement – Men’s Reserve Team Management

Guisborough Town FC would like to place on record it’s thanks to Reserves Management Team of Dean Naylor and Ross Day who stepped away from their roles last week.

Dean and Ross took on the position in November last year, keeping the team in the North Riding Football League Men’s Premier Division, whilst championing the player pathway at the Club.

Club Director Chris Wood commented: “Everyone at the Club would like to thank both Dean and Ross for their management of the team over the last 11 months. The task of running a team at any level is incredibly challenging, and Reserves team management has it’s additional challenges.

“Both have worked to support the player pathway at the Club and go with our best wishes.”

GTFC are delighted Dean stays as a valued member of our Junior Coaching team with the U14 Blacks.

The managerial vacancy has been quickly filled by Ste Harbisher, assisted by Nick Connelly, with immediate effect.

“Both Ste and Nick have been involved in the Club for many years, coaching within our Junior section and we are incredibly grateful to them for committing to the team moving forwards. They both know the Club and we know they’ll continue to look to promote from within our junior team”, Chris continued.

The Club’s Board wish to extend their thanks to Ste and Nick, and will work to support them throughout their tenure.
