On 18 March 2025, Guisborough Town Football Club officials attended an important meeting of the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Cabinet, where a unanimous decision was passed regarding a new 30-year lease proposed for our Football Club.
We are thrilled that the council cabinet voted so overwhelmingly in favour of the lease, which will include the new outside pitch area. This new lease not only guarantees the future of our current Football Club site, but also ensures the outdoor pitches are protected and can be enhanced for grassroots football.
In addition to being used by the 32 teams within the Club, other affiliated teams will also have the opportunity to hire the pitches for their matches, which enables GTFC to further support the wider community.
