TOWN APPOINT DYNAMIC NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM!
Guisborough Town FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Haslam as the Club’s New Men’s First Team Manager.
Nathan brings with him a wealth of experience from his time in the Northern League with Marske United and Whitley Bay. This was followed with successful spells at the higher Step 3 in the football pyramid with Northern Premier League Whitby Town, and then, most recently, as Head Coach at Blyth Spartans.
Nathan also played for Guisborough Town during two spells in the early 2000’s – making 42 appearances across 2000/01 and 2005.
Nathan spoke of his excitement at joining Guisborough Town;
It’s going to be an adventure for sure. Guisborough Town is an ambitious football club that matches my own ambitions, and I’m looking forward to getting started on the challenge ahead.

Nathan will be joined by Gary Wood as his assistant manager for the new season. Gary is regarded as a legend at Guisborough Town, with nearly 300 appearances for the Club both as a player and team captain.
Nathan added:
Gary’s a local lad that I’ve known a long time and worked with before, so he’s going to be a great fit and will bring a lot of excellent qualities.

Guisborough Town Club Chairman Andy Willis said of the new appointments:
I’d like to welcome both Nathan and Gary to Guisborough Town Football Club.
Having had success in the Northern League and managing at a higher level, Nathan stood out as the outstanding candidate for the role. Gary is someone I’ve known for many years, and his enthusiasm and passion for football and Guisborough Town is boundless.
The new management team have set out a very clear plan on how they want to play and evolve, and I know I can speak for the rest of the Club Board when I say we are very excited to be working with them both.
The Club’s Board of Directors wish to place on record their thanks to the large range of applicants who contacted the Club regarding the role.
